    Andre Joachim is a mental health professional based in Chicago, Illinois. His current research interest includes the overall mental health and well-being of people of individuals diagnosed with vitiligo in comparison to normative populations. Visibly Imperfectly Perfect addresses the needs of characteristically unique individuals. Joachim is seeing new patients through his foundation, Visibly Imperfectly Perfect.

    Reuben is a multilingual man, professional model, and self-improvement advocate. He has had vitiligo since he was four years old and thanks to the process of learning, self-awareness, and additional support from the family and realizes the true importance of self-worth. This workshop was made to demonstrate how to properly utilize tools and resources, and build your dreams into a reality.

    Iomikoe Johnson addresses the issues with Spotted Face, a filter that adds spotted skin to the user, but the person that the filter is made after does not have the ability to take on and off the spots on the face.

  • Vitiligo and Human Piebaldism Education

    Nadine Abouchaleh is a dermatologist with her medical degree from the University of Illinois Chicago and earned a bachelor’s in psychology at the University of California. Abouchaleh presents a brief medical perspective on vitiligo, piebaldism and albinism.

  • Global Vitiligo Foundation

    Dr. Richard H. Huggins is a dermatologist who specializes in vitiligo at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit Michigan where he has made many important contributions in vitiligo research. Dr. Rich has been particularly engaged with vitiligo support groups, having served as a medical director for the V Strong Vitiligo Support Community based in Detroit, MI since 2008, and he is the chairman of the Global Vitiligo Foundation community support section.

    Alicia Roufs is the marketing director of a national non-profit group, VITFriends, a vitiligo support community. She is also the founder of the local VITFriends support group in Minnesota.
